The PGA gears up for another exciting season of golf in Ghana as it announces the upcoming Golden Classic Championship 2024, scheduled to take place at the Center Of The World Golf Club in Tema from March 12th to 14th.

Following the success of the 10th edition of the Goldfields Championship held at Damang in the Western Region, the PGA is poised to kickstart the 2024 calendar with this flagship event, marking the beginning of the road to Damang agenda.

Scheduled from March 12th to 14th, the Golden Classic Championship 2024 promises to draw professional golfers from across the country for three days of intense competition.

The tournament, spanning 54 holes, will feature a cut off after the initial 36 holes on the second day, setting the stage for a more competitive challenge as golfers vie for victory on the final day.

Cash prizes await winners in both regular and seniors categories, adding to the stakes of the championship.

Alhaji Ahmed Padori, the PGA’s director of operations based in the UK, assured the media of the organization’s diligent preparations for the event at the Center Of The World Golf Club.

“As the inaugural competition of the PGA season, golfers are eager to make their mark. I encourage them to hone their skills further to enhance their chances in this three-day competition,” expressed Alhaji Padori, underscoring the anticipation surrounding the championship.
