World Water Day is all about raising awareness on water issues and pushing for sustainable management to ensure everyone has access to clean water.

The theme “Water for Peace” highlights how vital it is to manage our water sources peacefully and sustainably. We can help by being mindful of our water use, fixing leaks, and supporting conservation efforts.

AbibiNsorama Foundation engaged the learners of Community 7 No.2 Basic School. They were taught on the use of water and how water is essential for daily functionings like drinking, cooking, cleaning, and also farming.

The learners mentioned that lack of water can bring about conflicts, less hygiene especially for girls and also dirty public washrooms.

They also made mention of the fact that water is important for digestion of food and consumption.

Water is key to both harmony and conflict. If we share and manage it wisely, it can lead to peace and help solve crises. It’s essential for global stability and cooperation.

Water is life.
