There are reports of increasing fears amongst residents in the Nkwanta North District of the Oti Region.

The worrying development, according to the report, is as a result of rampant robbery which has hit some communities within the municipality recently.

Ghanaweb.mobi discovered that these robberies were on the rise in Kpassa, the district capital.

Considering the situation as dizzying and unbearable, the residents complained they were living and carrying out their daily activities in total fear as security in the area was nothing to write home about.

Motorbikes, Mobile phones, money, and many others including home appliances are the common materials many residents complained they are being robbed with.

The residents attributed these rampant robberies to the current situation of power outage in the Nkwanta North District in the last six (6) months.

Power has not been stable for the past six months.

Information reaching Otixpres.com indicates that the situation is being managed but low current, On and Off becoming normal to the people.
