Captain Nasser Sinare, the brother of the National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, has garnered new plaudits online after a flawless landing on OP179 from Tamale to Accra despite inclement weather.
H.E. John Dramani Mahama, a former president of the Republic of Ghana who was also a passenger on the flight, was impressed and praised the passionAir pilot.
He explained that his experience had enabled them to land safely despite the severe weather that had existed during the flight and the strong winds that nearly blew the passengers away as they disembarked.

For his part, Mr. Mahama hailed the skilled pilot’s remarkable performance and remarked that Captain Nasser Sinare and his crew handled the emergency amid hazardous weather with high professionalism.
The renowned pilot spoke with Japhet on the phone and stressed that it was his responsibility to bring the flight to an end without any of his passengers suffering any kind of harm.
He said that with his knowledge, experience, perseverance, and faith in Allah, he had done nothing significant.
