H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, former High Commissioner and the current National Vice-Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, has extended his condolences to the people of Akatsi South following the death of Hon. Famous Matsi, a constituency Vice Chairman of the NDC in Akatsi South.

Hon. Famous, who until his sudden demise was a cadre, a former Assemblymember, and the Akatsi South NDC Vice Chairman, as confirmed by his family, died on Monday, July 12, 2022.

Messages of condolences started popping up last night when his colleagues, the Akatsi South Constituency executives led by Mr. Anthony Kwadzo Owusu (Westfelia), were with the family on behalf of the party to greet and know the next line of action towards the funeral.

Today, the National Vice Chairman of the party is the first national officer who has joined the long list of world mourners.

“I was shocked to hear of the tragic and untimely death of a hard-working colleague, Cadre, a former Assemblymember for the Bata electoral area, and my current vice-chairman in the Akatsi South constituency.”

His loss will be particularly felt by his electorates, the good people of Akatsi South, and the National Democratic Congress, for whom he worked so hard to be.

However, the NDC will continue to draw strength and inspiration from the memory of his outstanding leadership,” parts of a statement on the official Facebook page of H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare have said.

According to the NDC’s Zongo President and the grassroots commando, Hon. Famous Matsi will be remembered by the people within his electoral area, the Akatsi South NDC, and the world for promoting more inclusive and dynamic leadership skills while upholding the NDC’s values and ethics in his various working places.

Message of Sympathy on the Death of Hon. Famous Matsi, Akatsi South NDC Vice-Chairman.

I am sad to join other wishers in sending the good people of Akatsi South NDC and the families of the late Hon. Famous Matsi, the constituency Vice-Chairman, my deepest sympathy and condolences during this time of sorrow.

I was shocked to hear of the tragic and untimely death of a hard-working colleague, Cadre, a former Assemblymember for the Bata electoral area, and my current vice-chairman in the Akatsi South constituency.

His loss will be particularly felt by his electorates, the good people of Akatsi South, and the National Democratic Congress, for whom he worked so hard to be.

However, the NDC will continue to draw strength and inspiration from the memory of his outstanding leadership.

All who knew him are richer for his memory, and our party, the National Democratic Congress, can be justly proud of his leadership at all times.

My thoughts are with the immediate family of the deceased, the former Speaker of our Party, Rt. Hon. Edward Kobby Doe Adjaho, the Honourable Member of Parliament, Hon. Bernard Ahiafor, the Akatsi South National Democratic Congress, and his colleagues, the Akatsi South Constituency Executives.

A tragic death has silenced a dynamic leader, and his loss will be deeply mourned by all who knew my dear Akatsi South Constituency Vice Chairman well.

Soldier and Cadre, may your gentle soul rest well with your creator!!
