Owen Ansah and Lucas Ansah-Peprah are sprinters for Germany.
Lucas (pictured, right) is the faster of the two and he showed it once again by producing the third fastest leg time in this morning’s 4x100m relays.
When Ghana finished 5th in the 4x100m relay heats at the Tokyo Olympics to qualify for the final, it was Lucas who ran the anchor leg for Germany as they finished 4th in the same heat.
Then, as now, he runs against Joseph-Paul Amoah. Both times, Amoah has beaten him in terms of times run for the final 100m leg.
Owen (21 years) and Lucas (22) are not related. Both were born in Germany to Ghanaian parents.
