Kennedy-Agyapong

Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has dispelled claims by some Ghanaians that it is impossible to make it in the country because the country is poor.

“The nation is not poor…,” he said at the Akroma Hotel in Takoradi where many young men and women had gathered for the Western Regional edition of the Guidance Conference.

The Assin Central Law Maker called on the gathering to look around them and realize that most foreigners are making it in Ghana in spite of complaints that it is very difficult to make it in the country.

Several opportunities, he said, exist in various communities in Ghana which can be exploited to make one rich.

“We are in this country always complaining about hardships and lack opportunities but the Syrians and other foreigners come into this country and make it…,” he said.

He further called for attitudinal change which he described as the main ingredient needed for success in business and nation-building.

“Honesty, that is the important principle that has taken me far in business, you need to always be honest in your dealings. This is one principle that the foreigners have as a weapon which we lack in this country, so we need to inculcate that…,” he said.

The business mogul who is on a tour to the various regions has been motivating the youth to see Ghana as a land where dreams can be realized.

He has also been preaching his principles of Patriotism, Honesty, and Discipline (PHD) which he believes will be the main ingredients in a Ken Agyapong presidency.
