Good Roll, makers of 100% European recycled paper, whose mission is to provide safe and clean toilets for everyone, in collaboration with Prolink a non-government organisation that seeks the interest of particularly young women has launched its chemical-free toilet roll.

Addressing the media, the Finance and Administrative Manager for Good Roll Ghana Limited, Mohammed Saani Adjei said their products are of high quality since they are made from bamboo without any chemicals thus making them chemical-free and healthy to use.

According to him, Good Roll which is an initiative from the government 1 District 1 Factory (1D1F) is looking forward to setting up a 50-tonnes factory in 2023 since a 10-tonne factory has been established this year.

“Good Roll produces 120,00 toilet rolls in a day. At Good Roll, we believe in sustainability thus working with about 200 local farmers who provide us with the raw materials to ensure we get nothing but quality end products.”

On her part, the Acting Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Dr. Lawyer Christine Asare the EPA will ensure that Good Roll always produces from Bamboo Raw Materials in response to safe environmental and healthy measures.

“We believe this will make the consumption of their products safer. Also, the EPA with a gladened heart welcomes this joint force with Good Roll,” she indicated.

Good Roll was established in 2018 by some Holland and Ghanaian partners but officially commenced operations in April 2022.

Good Roll supplies to both European and local markets and currently have about 13 local distributors across the country.

Some of its major distributors include Faters, Darko Ampem, Rissi Ventures, and VYL.
