Elder Debrah Bekoe Isaac, a member of the church of Pentecost has entreated that believers must take the opportunity to be each other’s keeper.
He said this when he donated pieces of cloth to a group of old women and widows at Larteh-Akuapem in the Eastern region during this year’s Christmas Convention.
Mr. Debrah Bekoe Isaac bemoaned that some of these old women and widows do not have it easy in terms of finances, food, proper shelter, and clothing.
He said some are less catered for due to their situations and conditions which surround them which calls for intensive care.
Mr. Debrah Bekoe Isaac again thanked Elder Theophilus Kwabena Aboagye (USA) who doubled as a former Presiding Elder of Bethel Assembly in Larteh who he said supported him to organise a party for them.
Mr. Debrah Bekoe Isaac he called on all believers both in Ghana and the diaspora to emulate what his colleague (Eld. Aboagye) has done.
He, therefore, used the opportunity to call on all believers and religious leaders to use every occasion to find the less privileged, vulnerable, needy, and the aged in the communities as well as the various churches and render the needed support to them.
He said the main focus of Christianity is touching the lives of people, both physically and spiritually.
He said he is looking forward to receiving more support from other benevolent people to do more this year.
He also used the opportunity to thank everyone who supported him to undertake these projects.
