The Member of Parliament for Effiduase/Asokore, Hon. Nana Ayew has stated emphatically that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (DMB) will take Ghana to the promised land when voted into power.
He is optimistic that when given the mandate to spearhead the affairs of the country, he will no doubt deliver.
“When he is in charge, we will take charge and we will go to the promised land because, he, DMB is taking us there.”
He said this in an interaction with TV3’s Ashanti Regional Correspondent Williams Evans Nkum.
Responding to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong that Dr. Bawumia is not a strategist during his tour in the Ahafo Region, Hon Nana Ayew said “He, Kennedy Agyapong should direct such comments to the finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.”
Any poor person shares his experiences when he used to go to school, pay his fees, and drove a taxi, if Kennedy can be a president then any other person can also be. Regardless of where you are in this country, there is always a day and moment for you to be where you want to be,” he stated.
Dr. Bawumia is currently on a campaign tour nationwide ahead of the NPP Presidential Elections in November.
Dr. Bawumia believes that all the presidential aspirants were young and yearning for the same goal and as such there was no need for anyone to engage in politics of insults.
The campaign tour has seen the Vice President and his entourage touring all the constituencies to canvass for votes to lead the party into the 2024 general elections.
