A team of twelve men and one woman have set out on an epic journey from Ghana to the UK.

Covering a staggering 10,000 kilometers, their mission is to drive from Accra to London while enjoying the experience.

Speaking from Spain in an interview with Accra-based Peace FM, one of the team members known as Saka explained that they were inspired by stories of people traveling by road from foreign countries to Ghana and other African nations.

They decided to turn the tables and attempt this kind of adventure themselves. The group started the trip on July 23.

They’re expected to arrive in London on Sunday, August 6 or Monday, August 7.
