Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew has been left out of the Ghanaian squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Coach Otto Addo decided to exclude Ayew from his 26-man roster for the matches against Mali and the Central African Republic.
In an official statement, Addo mentioned that he had a personal conversation with Ayew to explain the reasons behind his omission before announcing the squad.
The Black Stars will play against Mali on June 6, 2024, at Stade 26 Mars.

Lawrence Ati Zigi, Jojo Wollacott, Frederick Asare.
Defenders: Gideon Mensah, Ebenezer Annan, Mohammed Salisu, Jerome Opoku, Abdul Mumin, Alexander Djiku and Alidu Seidu, Tariq Lamptey.
Forwards:
Ernest Nuamah, Osman Bukari, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Ibrahim Osman Kamaldeen Sumenana and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
Ghana will face Mali on June 6 before facing the Central African Republic on June 10.
