In a strategic move to deepen ties with Ghana media stakeholders, MTN Ghana CEO Stephen Blewett led a delegation on Wednesday to visit two major media organizations in Accra.

This engagement served as an opportunity for Stephen Blewett to be formally introduced to the media.

These visits also form part of a broader effort by MTN’s CEO to connect with various stakeholder groups and strengthen relationships within the media sector.

The first visit was to the leadership of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).

During the meeting, Stephen reiterated MTN’s commitment to partnering with the media to advance its digital agenda.

The President of GJA congratulated Stephen on his appointment and pledged ongoing support from the media for MTN’s initiatives.

Following this development, Stephen and his team met with Ato Afful, Managing Director of Graphic Communications, and Theophilus Yartey, Editor of the Daily Graphic.

The discussions centered on potential collaborations between MTN and the Daily Graphic to enhance their respective businesses.

The Daily Graphic sought support from MTN to digitize its archive of newspapers dating back to its inception. Additionally, Stephen was invited to be the first MTN CEO to feature on the “Graphic MD’s Series,” an online media program.
