Bronx Gym boxer, John Bonkyenu Zile is on the road to greatness and his manager, Mr. Gordon Frimpong of Osibor Boxing Promotions fame believes he will become one of the hottest boxers.

John Zile, 24 who loves to be called ‘The Monster’ hails from the Bono region, as his love and aspiration to become a star in the pugilists’ sport has seen him in the ring.

“I know I can become a champion because I try to be very disciplined and take intructions from by able coaches” he said.

Zile (13-0-2) who defeated experienced Quartey aka Akuffo Addo at the SG Mall in Kumasi to become the new UBO International Super Bantamweight champion said he wants to become a world champion.

Emmanuel ‘Akuffo-Addo’ Quartey failed to answer the bell for round three in the event which attracted a good patronage.

Before this bout he has drawn with Bismark Saah of the Ghana Armed Forces, one of the best boxers in the division.

He thanked Coach Carl Lokko and all the trainers at the Bronx Gym who have contributed to his development.
