Accra, Ghana—January 1, 2025

Dear fellow Ghanaians,

As we bid Farewell to the year 2024 and welcome a new year, 2025, I am filled with hope and optimism for the future of our great nation, Ghana.

On behalf of the Center for National Interest and Research, I wish you and your loved ones a happy and prosperous new year.

In this new year, I urge all Ghanaians, regardless of political affiliation, to join hands in pursuit of our national development goals.

Let us work together to build a prosperous, inclusive, and resilient Ghana that benefits all citizens.

Ghana needs professionals from all fields who will stand their ground for fairness and progress of the national interest.

We can’t succeed as a country if we continue to have heads or institutions who are more loyal to political parties and governments than the state.

As we embark on this new year, let us endeavor to build a welfare state economic society full of opportunities for everyone to succeed.

A new Ghana where everyone feels a sense of belonging, irrespective of their political affiliations or tribes. A society where you don’t need to only occupy political office to be rich.

We need an inclusive success, where we collaborate as citizens and professionals, complementing each other’s successes towards our Centenary Agenda initiatives.

67 years of independence and 32 years of the 4th Republic is enough time for us as a country to work tirelessly and move away from extreme partisan politics of divisiveness and unprecedented corruption.

It is time for us to come together and strive for a first-world status on or before 2057. Our goal is to achieve a developed nation status, where everyone has access to equal opportunities, and our diversity is celebrated.

We will continue to conduct evidence-based research, provide education and training programs, and advocate for good governance and accountability.

We are dedicated to supporting the Centenary Agenda initiatives and the New Ghana Project, which aim to transform our nation into a developed country by 2057.

Once again, I congratulate His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President-elect of the Republic of Ghana, on his historic re-election victory in the 2024 presidential election.

To all opposition parties and their supporters, I offer my sincerest appreciation for your role in Ghana’s democratic process.

Let us put aside our differences and work together towards a common goal – a prosperous, inclusive, and resilient Ghana.

To the youth, middle class citizens, and young adults of Ghana, I offer a special message of encouragement and hope.

You are the backbone of our nation, and your energy, creativity, and innovation are crucial to driving our country’s progress.

Let us work together to build a brighter future for Ghana.
