In recent development, report says although the police is yet to conclude on their investigations, some members of the vigilante group have vowed to deal with Owoahene Acheampong anytime he visits the community over fear of initiating other young guys into homosexuality.

In Ghana, although the Human Sexual Right and the Ghanaian Family Values Bill, popularly known as the anti LGBT Bill has passed it’s third reading in parliament , pending presidential assent to finally become law, the entire Ghanaian customs and practices frowns on homosexuality in any form, making it dangerous and unsafe for homosexuals to openly reveal their identity.

It is considered a taboo for man to sleep with his fellow man, likewise woman having sexual relationship with same sex. Culprits, when caught are most often lynched and publicly ridiculed.
