The General Superintendent, Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam and wife, Lady Mrs Monica Wengam have visited the Upper West Region to complete the 2025 Apostolic Visits.

Their visit to the Region officially marks the completion of all Apostolic Visits to the church’s 24 administrative regions.

Event

The event was held at the Revival Assembly of God, in Wa on Monday December 15,2025. It was characterised by a three-hour non-stop prayer session led by Rev. Wengam, preaching, renewal of marriage vows and presentations to retired ministers and their spouses as well as widows of deceased pastors and pastors’ wives.

Sermon

The General Superintendent preached a sermon titled, “How To Transform Your Church Into A House of Prayer”.

He emphasised that the temple is a place of communion between God and His people.

He called on pastors to equip their congregants to be Intercessors and prayer warriors.

Faithful stewards

Subsequently, Lady Mrs Monica Wengam, the National President of Ministers’ Wives Association commended pastors and their spouses for being deligent and faithful stewards.

She further presented fabric to each pastor’s wife and an undisclosed amount of money and fabric to the retirees and their spouses as well as the widows.

This gesture is a personal project of the General Superintendent and his wife to support the welfare of pastors.
