Accra, Ghana -March 24, 2026, The National Executive of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) wishes to inform all members that the deadline for the publication of the list of members in good standing has been extended from Tuesday, March 24, 2026, to Friday, March 27, 2026.
This extension is intended to afford members who are yet to regularize their financial obligations additional time to do so.
Consequently, members are strongly encouraged to pay their dues on or before Thursday, March 26, 2026, in order to have their names captured in the official list of members in good standing.
The Association draws attention to Article 34(a) of 2004 Constitution, which stipulates that “the Annual General Meeting shall be attended by all members of the Association in good standing.”
To this end, it is imperative for members to honour their dues obligations to be eligible to fully participate in the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ghana International Press Centre in Accra.
The National Executive looks forward to welcoming all members to this important meeting and urges full compliance with the payment of the dues to ensure active participation in the affairs of the Association.
