To mark World Oral Health Day 2021, Pepsodent Ghana hit the streets of Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, and Tamale to educate and remind Ghanaians on the importance of brushing day and night for optimum oral health.
The stunt also served as a platform to launch the #BrushWithMe campaign which has been designed to remind parents of the great role they play in taking care of the oral health of their families and encouraging them to brush day and night together with their children.
Each year, Pepsodent Ghana celebrates World Oral Health Day in grand style, using creative means to carry across the good message of cultivating good oral health. This year was no exception as vibrant stuntmen and women were seen around the Accra Kawokudi, Osu Oxford Street and Independence Avenue, Takoradi Market Circle, Tamale Central and Anloga Junction, Aboabo post office in Kumasi showcasing live-size Pepsodent packs including catchy hashtags #BrushWithMe and #BrushDayandNight.
The #BrushWithMe global campaign is driven by research data and highlights the importance of building good oral care routines within the family.
According to a global research conducted by Pepsodent, when a parent brushes twice a day, the probability that the children will skip brushing is only 9% but when a parent skips brushing, the chance that a child also skips brushing is 69%.
For this reason, Pepsodent, the number one oral care brand in the country has taken to the streets to say urge Ghanaian families to join the #BrushWithMe train by visiting a dentist regularly, brush properly day and night and brushing together.
That’s right! Brushing is better together and twice a day is the way to go.
Parents can get involved by posting their family’s fun brushing antics and how they brush with their kids on social media with the hashtag #BrushWithMe and tagging @PepsodentGH.
