It has come to the attention of the Northern Regional Vetting Committee of MMDCEs of the New Patriotic Party that some elements are spreading a purported list of shortlisted MMDCE applicants from sources unknown to the committee.
We wish to put it on record that no official list of shortlisted applicants has been released by the Vetting Committee of the party formally or informally.
The General Public is entreated to disregard such dreamed up names on social media.
The Committee, at the appropriate time, will contact shortlisted applicants via phone for the next stage of the process.
For the avoidance of any doubt, the public should note that such a list will only come on a letterhead of the Committee under the signature of the Regional Secretary, who was the Secretary to the Vetting Committee.
