The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has warned the general public, stakeholders, staking public and players, the media and website hosting companies against the activities of lottery fraudsters on the internet.
According to the NLA, Website Hosting Companies should beware of the following websites such as http://www.myalphaonline.com and http://www.theb2blotto.com that are operating illegally, perpetrating fraud against the interest of Ghana’s Government in terms of revenue generation, and conducting lottery business without an authorized Web Applications License from the National Lottery Authority (NLA), the sole Regulator and operator of lottery in Ghana in accordance with the National Lotto Act 722 and L.I. 1948.

Beware of Fraudulent Lottery Websites: NLA Cautions Public & Website Hosting Companies
The National Lottery Authority (NLA) would like to caution the general public, staking public/players, the media and Website Hosting Companies that the following websites such as http://www.myalphaonline.com and http://www.theb2blotto.com are operating illegally, perpetrating fraud against the interest of Ghana’s Government in terms of revenue generation, and conducting lottery business without an authorized Web Applications License from the National Lottery Authority (NLA), the sole Regulator and operator of lottery in Ghana in accordance with the National Lotto Act 722 and L.I. 1948.
We are therefore calling on the:
- Staking public/players to discontinue patronizing the illegal and fraudulent websites: http://www.myalphaonline.com and http://www.theb2blotto.com 2. Website Hosting Companies to respectively pull down http://www.myalphaonline.com and
with immediate effect.
The necessary legal actions shall be taken against the Website Hosting Companies if they fail to shut down http://www.myalphaonline.com and http://www.theb2blotto.com respectively.
However, the National Lottery Authority (NLA) would also engage the services of Professionals/institutions to take the necessary actions against http://www.myalphaonline.com and http://www.theb2blotto.com if the Website Hosting Companies fail to comply with this directive.
