Ghanaian singer and songwriter Jackeline Acheampong, known professionally as Gyakie, has responded to claims that she intentionally ignored rapper Yaw Tog at the just ended AFRIMA in Nigeria.
A viral video circulating on social media has Gyakie hugging Kofi Jamar and leaving the scene without doing the same with Yaw Tog, who appeared waiting anxiously for a hug. Most people labelled the incident as a deliberate snub by Gyakie to ignore the “Sore” hitmaker.
Gyakie has responded to the claims saying Ghanaians have been fed with half information, which is very dangerous, sharing a picture that depicts two different expressions from different angles.
“Half information and wrong understanding can be very poisonous,” she tweeted.
Yaw Tog apparently is surprised to know the meanings Ghanaians are reading into the short video they saw.
