Officers at the Ministries Police station in Accra were called in to arrest a client of NDK Financial Services on Tuesday 7th December 2021 for going to the office to demand his matured investment.
Mr. Space Clottey had gone to the NDK office to demand the sum of GH500,000 being his investment which matured some months ago.
Instead of being given a cheque for his funds, he was rather reported to the Ministries Police Station and the police picked Mr. Clottey up.
He was arrested at 3pm and released at 8:30pm, for what exactly he could not tell.
Narrating his ordeal to The Gister, Mr. Clottey noted that after the maturity of his funds, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NDK Financial Services, Nii Okoe Dzanie personally called him in September and appealed to him to give him up to the end of the month.
“I never suspected they had any financial challenges and so I agreed to give him some time.”
“Now I need the funds to undertake some projects and they keep tossing me, the CEO has even refused to pick my numerous calls,” he recounted sadly.
He added “It’s true they say that, “All that glitters is not gold.” You see how big and nice the building is? But is full of debts. 10x the cost of the building.”
Mr. Clottey however stated his determination to take his funds from the company signaling that he cannot be intimidated into leaving his funds for the company.
“I can assure this institution that they cannot win with me by using one or two police officers to intimidate me for doing everything legally possible to retrieve my huge investment with them. The battle line is now drawn,” he stated strongly.
Meanwhile attempts to reach the NDK Financial Services proved futile as the main officer who dealt with Mr. Clottey, Borley Borketey’s phone has been off as at the time of filing this report.
The Gister is surely going to follow this issue deeply and, as usual, bring to the fore all hidden information.
