ACCRA 23RD DECEMBER, 2021—First Klass Shipping Specialist based in the UK on Thursday 23rd December, 2021 officially opened its ultra-modern Warehouse and Offices located at Pokuase Akatapor in Accra.
The grand opening of the First Klass Shipping edifice was graced by NII ABONSIEKU THE 1ST, THE ABESE MANTSE and his royal entourage, cherished and valued customers, clients of First Klass Shipping Specialist, the Management and Staff of First Klass Shipping and some family and friends.
The event also had performances from First Klass Music signed-act, Obibini Takyi Junior and Kuame Eugene.
First Klass Shipping Specialist Ltd., is a family-run business established in August 2013 registered in the UK and trading as World Klass Shipping Specialist in Ghana.
It started from a very humble beginning and by the grace of God First Klass Shipping Specialist Ltd., has become the fastest growing Door-to-Door Shipping Company from UK to Ghana.
Speaking at the grand opening ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of First Klass Shipping, Mr. Michael Obeng, described the new office building as a very historic and above all an enviable milestone in the corporate journey of FIRST KLASS SHIPPING SPECIALIST COMPANY LIMITED (FKSS).
“We are proud of the position we have attained in the Shipping industry as we are currently the first choice of most Ghanaians who do Shipping to Ghana. We have helped thousands of Ghanaians Shop online from the UK and have had the items shipped and delivered to their homes in Ghana successfully without any glitches,” Mr. Obeng stated.
Touching on COVID-19, he admitted that the company has had its share of challenges owing to the deadly pandemic but it was also during this period that online orders boomed.
“In the line of our operations, First Klass Shipping Specialist has also made online shopping easier for all Ghanaians even amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic which has left a trail of devastation in its wake while leaving the world in a state of uncertainty with its accompanied long-term consequences,” he said.
He recalled that the company had just one van making deliveries in Ghana when it began operations but today can boast of some appreciable fleet of cars which have helped to streamline operations and most importantly satisfying clients by making prompt deliveries.
“We have also instituted a reliable system of tracking of goods and items including the monitoring of our fleets which makes us the best Shipping Company providing a more secured and safer delivery of goods and items. I’m glad to say that we have lived up to our mission and desire to ensure that all Ghanaians receive a friendly, professional faster, cheaper, safer, and stress-free shopping and shipping services from the UK to Ghana,” Mr. Obeng added.
On what the future holds for First Klass Shipping, he said the company is seeking to improve upon what it is currently doing.
“Against this background, I would like to assure our customers and clients of a more reliable and robust scheme of operations.
We currently have a staff strength of 57 in all offering highly professional and dedicated services to our large client base.”
OnCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR), he acknowledged that First Klass Shipping has also been involved in some (CSR) projects because the company believes in giving back to the society that embraced their business.
“As part of some of our CSR projects, we built and launched an ultra-modern public toilet facility at Atwedie in the Asante Akyem South District of the Ashanti Region. We also make donations every year to orphanages, the needy, widows, street children among others.”
Mr. Obeng also thanked and acknowledged the main pillars who made it possible for this grand ultra-modern edifice to be realised.
