Former Finance Minister under the erstwhile government, NDC, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor in his pursuit to bring relief to the party has donated an amount of GHC100,000 cedis to the party leadership to support an outreach program ongoing in the Eastern Region.

The National Democratic Congress was honored to receive the GHC100,000 cedis grant from one of its financiers and an aspirant for the impending National election for the party to Fund its outreach program in the Eastern region.

The donation was made at the NDC Eastern Regional Headquarters on Tuesday and was received by the National Chairman, Ofosu Ampofo, and the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia on behalf of the region during the orientation program for the outreach team.

This is set to cushion the ongoing program as the money is expected to be shared among the 33 Constituencies in the region, and part of it will be left in regional executive committee coffers to embark on the program.

In a statement signed by the Director of Operations for #TeamDuffour, Hon. Boating Gyan, the fund will support NDC in their efforts to rescue the country with the former finance minister as the party’s presidential candidate.
