Some thoughtful and committed students who can change the world with solutions to the epidemic of pollution by saying ‘yes’ to recycle, reuse and reduce will be offered the platform to display their intelligence.

Those who believe in this present era, that there is no waste as they can make use of some used materials like plastic bottles and plastic waste will represent their schools.

They must give life to facilities like hospitals and hotels as well as halt open defecation and provide means to clean water and a neat environment.

16 Senior High Schools in Ghana will epitomize their regions at the Alisa Hotel in August to compete with their research work in the 2022 National Sanitation Intellectual PowerPoint Presentation Contest.

The presentation will be on how to keep markets clean, preservation of beaches/water bodies, how to keep hospitals and hotels clean as well as personal hygiene and how to stop open defecation.

The concept is organized and managed by One – On – One Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Sanitation & Water Resources and the Ghana Education Service.

The Minister of Sanitation & Water Resources, Hon. Mrs. Cecilia Abena Dapaah has personally shown interest in the programme and has prearranged special funds for the event and the school’s representatives.

Companies are invited to sponsor and support the worthy event.
