With Birmingham 2022 less than a week away, find out what you can expect, and look forward to, at Games venues.

Arrive Early

There will be lots to see and do at venues before your session starts so be sure to arrive early, to allow for quicker entry and give yourself time to explore inside. To ensure you don’t miss any of the pre-event entertainment, be in your seat 30 minutes before your session starts.

‘Have A Go’ Activities

Take part in our ‘Have A Go’ sporting activities, with something available for all ages. There is lots to do and see and you may even get the chance to meet an athlete and pick up some tips.

There will be a range of hot and cold food available to buy, including produce sourced locally from the West Midlands. This will be accompanied by a selection of hot and cold beverages, including alcohol and soft drinks. Wherever possible, the packaging will be biodegradable, to assist us in achieving our sustainability goals for the Games.

Water Refill Stations

To help visitors stay hydrated during the Games, Severn Trent’s Water Refill Stations will allow visitors to refill their water bottles for free. So, make sure you bring a reusable water bottle with you!

Venue Information Points

Each venue has an information point, where you will find the latest venue information, young spectator contact information wristbands for your children, lost and found service, complimentary Perry Passport Activity book (whilst stocks last), hearing augmentation device loan and wheelchair charging.
