Pursuant to Article 17.0 of the Constitution of the Private Newspaper Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG), the Association goes to the polls on Friday, August 12, 2022, to elect Executives to run the affairs of the Association for the next three (3) years.
In this regard, the Elections Committee wishes to appeal to members who are eligible voters to abide by the following rules:
i. All Media Houses shall send the name(s) of their representative(s) (voters) to the PRINPAG Secretariat through WhatsApp or text message. (Contacts: 0249 965 470/ 0244 274 186/ 0244 664 556)
ii. These representatives on voting day must come to the Voting Centre (the PRINPAG Secretariat) with any form of ID Card.
iii. Members in the regions, outside Greater Accra shall vote by proxy through their Agent(s) or Assign(s).
iv. All Candidates especially the Presidential Candidates, shall furnish the Elections Committee with the name(s) of their agent(s) or observer(s).
v. Voting period is from 9:00am – 3:00pm
vi. Counting and declaration of Results from 3:00pm – 5:00pm
