Actor Ekow Blankson has been reported dead at the age of 50.
Circumstances surrounding his passing is not very clear as of now but colleagues such as veteran highlife artiste Rex Omar and several creative industry members have started paying tribute.
Aside acting, Mr. Blankson was the Commercial Manager of Ghanaweb.
Before joining Ghanaweb, Ekow Blankson worked with Multimedia Broadcasting Company and held positions such as Director of brands, corporate communications, and General Manager of Luv FM and Nhyira FM in Kumasi and also worked with many other media firms such as TV Africa, Media General Ghana Limited.
The late actor won admiration for his roles in a number of movies such as Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party and Famous.
