UK-based Ghanaian versatile artiste, Sency Miller has released his first project of the year, Okuku Seku, on various digital streaming platforms.
The song, which is a precursor to his highly anticipated EP, has generated a buzz around his craft and has received critical acclaim by music experts.
‘Okuku Seku’ a slang word for fair-weather friends, a term popularized by the legendary late Paapa Yankson gives a narrative of Miller’s experiences with fair-weather friends and his honest take in life.
The hi-life inspired song, fused with afro-rhythm and soul vibes matched with his effortlessly sound on a well-produced instrumental with production credit to Melba Made and Samsney.
Miller has hinted at a possible release of accompanying visuals for ‘Okuku Seku’, teasing fans with a trailer on his personal YouTube channel.
The video, which Miller has previously said in interviews was shot largely in Mexico and the UK by fast rising video director Leo.
