John Zile, a rising star from the Bronx Boxing Gym has promised to give Kumasi Boxing fans a good treat on 5th July when he takes on veteran Emmanuel Quartey for the UBO International Super Featherweight title.

Known as the ‘Monster John Zile, 24 who has won 12 bouts and drawn twice said he wants Kumasi people to feel the vibe of the game and call for more.

He thanked Osibor Promotions and Management for creating the chance and hoped to knock out his opponent also called Akuffo Addo in round four.

“I will knock him out by round 4. I have had the best training camp, and I know my capabilities. I intend to make a spectacle of him and register a big statement” he said.

But Quartey, 34 who boasts of a record of 26-12-1 said he will change the tide and win. He noted that Kumasi is a great place for boxing and promised to give them a good fight, hoping to win.

Also featuring on the Showdown in Kumasi is the Ashanti Warrior aka Stanley Nyantekyi who faces experienced Isaac Nettey for the UBO Intercontinental Africa Featherweight title.

The bill is slated for the SG Mall in Kumasi the capital of the Ashanti Region.
