Mr. Samuel Benedict Kwaku Nugblega, ex-Parliamentary candidate in last year’s Parliamentary primary elections in the Akatsi South Branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress has appealed to his support base to rally behind the party’s Parliamentary and presidential candidates ahead of the December 7th polls.

In a meeting with hundreds of  his followers, supporter, sympathizers and some key stakeholders of his 2023 campaign team, Mr. Samuel B.K Nugblega  commended his supporters and expressed his gratitude to the Team for the various roles they have played during his campaign.

The Human Resource for Health Director of CHAG noted that the 7th December General Elections offer the NDC the opportunity to return to Power to rescue the Suffering Ghanaians from the difficulties they are going through as a Country.

He reiterated the point that the NDC cannot afford to lose the 2024 Presidential Election as well as not to secure majority in Parliament.

He stressed that the NDC has a duty to rescue the suffering Ghanaians from the current difficulties they find themselves in as a nation, restore hope to the citizenry and bring the economy back on track.

Mr. Samuel Nugblega who commended his support base for its role in his contest noted that the 7th December general elections offered the NDC the opportunity to return to the heart of political governance of the country if they put their personal strifes aside to rally behind the presidential and Parliamentary candidates of the party.

Addressing his charged followers, who complained bitterly about discrimination, victimization, non-inclusion and neglect because of their declaration of support for his candidacy Mr. Nugblega inspired them to declare their utmost love for the Party at this point in time, and remain resolute to the cause of the Great NDC Party.

He Assured the followers and supporters that the Party Leadership at both the National and Regional levels are working hard to address the concern they have raised.

He also expressed confidence in the Leadership of the Party, in resolving all their issues of concern. Mr. Nugblega maintained what required of him as a committed member of the Party, as well as them his followers, supporters and sympathizers is to put the past behind, commit themselves to goal of the Party, which is winning the 2024 General Elections, unite as a Party, and work assiduously  for a massive win for both the Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates; HE John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Bernard Ahiafo respectively.


Appealing to the aggrieved card-bearing members of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Akatsi South Constituency to put aside their scores of differences and work towards the party’s victory in the December 2024 elections, the Constituency organizer, Hon. Sulleymana Seidu has reiterated that, the victory train of the party is moving and the party is having limited time to resolve all internal grievances before the elections hence, everyone should bury the pains and work for the party.

He said “John needs NDC parliamentarian to implement policies needed to revive the Economy at ICU for that matter, comrades forgive whoever has offended you because of John and the party”, he said.

Mr. Francis Dotsey Bedzo, the deputy secretary of the Akatsi South NDC has also stated that the party won’t be forgiven if personal interests and egos lead to another political misfortune for the party in the December Polls.

Hon. Japhet Festus Gbede, a member of the party’s communication team, has admonished the support base to reconcile their differences and galvanize their collective strength towards achieving the party’s strategic objectives of winning to rescue the suffocating Ghanaians in the 7th December Polls.

Noting the culmination of internal electoral processes, he emphasized the imperative of acquiescing to the sovereign decisions of the delegates, thereby fostering a united front essential for the party’s ascendance to forming governmental power in 2025.
