The Grand-Final and Third Place Play-off of the thrilling 2024 MTN AshantiFest Football Tournament comes off on Sunday, 28th July 2024, at 2 pm at the Dechemso Otumfuo Park.

The 3rd Place Play-off will be between Ejisu FC against Adoato FC, while the Grand-Final is a super clash between Bantama FC and Amakom FC.

The stimulating semi finals of the 2024 MTN Ashantifest Football tournament took place at the Otumfuo Park, Dechemso last Friday, 19th July 2024 before a respectable crowd.

In the first Semi-final, Ejisu FCdrew 2-2 Bantama FC, before losing at the penalty kicks.

The scorers were Emmanuel Agyemang Badu (own goal), Kwabena Boateng ‘Sonny’ and Emmanuel Sarpong ‘Agogo’ (Brace)

Bantama FC won 4-2 to play in the grand finals on penalties after an exciting game.

Emmanuel Sarpong aka ‘Agogo’ of Bantama missed a penalty during regulation time.

Kwabena Boateng plays for Legon Cities whereas the goal scorer for Bantama, Emmanuel Sarpong features for Berekum Chelsea.

In the second Semi-final Adoato FC lost 1-2 to Amakom FC with goals coming from Kwadwo Taylor and Marvin Owusu (brace (1pen)).

Marvin Owusu is a former player of WAFA and Hearts of Oak. He now features for Golden Kicks FC.

Organisers and sponsors have scheduled the third Place Play-off and Grand-Final for Sunday, 28th July 2024, Kick-off at 2 pm at the Dechemso Otumfuo Park.

The 3rd Place Play-off will be Ejisu FC against Adoato FC.

The Grand-Final will be between Bantama FC and Amakom FC.
