As expected, the annual tourist attraction event that brings residents of Korle-Gonno Community together, including brothers and sisters from other regions of Ghana and foreigners from the Diaspora, is happening again on the Roger Avenue in KG, starting from Friday 20th to Monday 23rd September, 2024.

THE NATIVE TRIBE, Wɔmanŋ Nɛ Festival’s event organisers in a Press Release confirmed that this year’s gathering (their 6th edition) will out-class any event that they have held in the past.

“The side attractions will be something unseen before in the annals of the people of Korle-Gonno and will become indelible in the minds of revellers who will attend this event,” the Statement said.

“It is ONLY great minds that think about Great Things. If it were not so, the festival, 6th of its kind, and a concept by enthusiastic, enterprising and energetic young minds of THE NATIVE TRIBE, would have lost the good people of Korle-Gonno community forever,” the Statement added.

Without prodding from the government and strictly a non-political event, the Native Tribe, like its brain child – “Wɔmanŋ Nɛ Festival,” has come to stay.
