NDC Dirty Schemes And Claims That Bawumia Eats Pork Will Not Work—NPP Germany
NPP GERMANY takes this opportunity to address a dangerous and divisive narrative being circulated by elements within the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) including the likes of Bastintale.
NPP GERMANY on this note condemns NDC Propaganda on Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia meant to sow Religious disaffection towards Muslims.
In recent days, the NDC, in their desperate bid to score political points, has resorted to spreading falsehoods and malicious propaganda aimed at tarnishing the image of our esteemed Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and sowing seeds of religious discord in our beloved country.
False Accusations of Pork Eating
At the center of this divisive campaign is the baseless and offensive claim that Vice President Dr. Bawumia, a devout Muslim, has been seen consuming pork.
This false narrative, designed to discredit the Vice President and to incite disaffection among the Muslim community, is nothing short of reckless and an affront to the values of decency and truth.
Let us state categorically that these allegations are completely false. Dr. Bawumia is a practicing Muslim who adheres strictly to the tenets of his faith.
To NPP GERMANY, the spread of such lies is not only disrespectful to him personally but also deeply offensive to the entire Muslim community in Ghana, who value their religious practices and beliefs.
Religious Disunity is Dangerous
We must be clear: any attempt to stoke religious tensions in our country is dangerous and must be condemned in no uncertain terms.
Ghana has long been a beacon of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence. Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths have lived side by side in harmony for decades.
Any political group or individual that seeks to undermine this harmony for political gain does a great disservice to our country and our future.
It is disturbing that the NDC would engage in such gutter politics, seeking to exploit religion for political capital.
This tactic not only disrespects our religious diversity but also threatens to divide us along religious lines—a situation we cannot afford as a nation.
Call to NDC to Refrain from Dangerous Propaganda
We call on the NDC and their surrogates to immediately desist from this dangerous propaganda. As politicians, we are all obligated to engage in healthy and constructive discourse.
This kind of malicious and unfounded attack should have no place in our national political dialogue.
The NDC should be reminded that the choice of who leads this nation is based on policies, competence, and the vision of leaders, not religious or ethnic backgrounds.
By resorting to these cheap tactics, they show a lack of respect not only for Dr. Bawumia but for all Ghanaians, particularly our Muslim brothers and sisters.
To the General Public
To our fellow Ghanaians, we urge you not to fall for this divisive propaganda.
We are a country that prides itself on unity in diversity. Let us not allow anyone to exploit our religious or ethnic differences for their selfish political gain.
Let us stand firm in our commitment to peace, tolerance, and respect for one another, regardless of our differences.
To the Muslim Community
We stand in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters. We know how hurtful and disrespectful these false accusations are, and we assure you that Dr. Bawumia remains steadfast in his faith and commitment to the values of Islam.
No amount of lies or misinformation will shake his faith or the trust that the Muslim community and Ghanaians, in general, have in him.

In conclusion, we reiterate our condemnation of the baseless and dangerous propaganda being peddled by the NDC.
We call on all political actors to prioritize the unity and peace of our nation over cheap political gain.
Ghana’s future is too important to be jeopardized by divisive and destructive politics.
We trust that the good people of Ghana will see through this agenda and continue to support leaders who are committed to the progress, unity, and development of our great nation.
You cannot distract the discerning minds of Ghanaians with hollow accusations. The people of Ghana are wise, and they will not be swayed by unfounded claims.
Let us continue to support leaders like Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who have proven their worth through hard work and dedication.
Let us reject the flimsy propaganda and focus on the real issues at hand—the future of our beloved nation.
We will continue to urge the good people of Ghana to vote NPP and break the 8 in order to retain the NPP so that the next NPP administration in the helm of governance will continue to give off its best.
