VICTORY STATEMENT BY DAVID TAMAKLOE—THE PRINPAG PRESIDENT-ELECT
I am deeply honored to have been elected as the ultimate winner of the President’s position in the Private Online and Newspaper Publishers Association (PRINPAG) Executives elections today.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our executives, the secretariat, the elections committee, and most importantly, all members of our esteemed association.
I also want to recognize and appreciate the efforts of all the contestants and the elections organizing committee.
The overwhelming show of confidence through the votes cast is a clear call to duty, and I assure you that we are fully prepared to hit the ground running once we assume office. Our commitment is unwavering, and we pledge dedicated service and hard work to enhance the prosperity of PRINPAG.
Our focus is on fostering a unified leadership and association, aiming to bolster our presence, diversify revenue streams for the benefit of our members and their institutions.
We understand the significance of collaboration and will actively seek to work with other sister organizations to elevate media standards in Ghana.
Through partnerships with the government and corporate entities, we aspire to advance the promotion, protection, and preservation of media freedom and free speech, aligning with the principles set forth in our constitution.
I call upon all colleagues who have been elected and the other contestants to join hands with us, bringing forth your valuable ideas and insights as we embark on this new chapter at PRINPAG.
I express my profound gratitude to the founding fathers of our association and assure you all that we are committed to upholding the trust placed in us. Together, we shall strive to achieve new heights and uphold the ethos of journalism practice in Ghana.
