Ghanaian Businessman based in Accra, Mr. Rodney Ewusie-Moses, has responded in an attempt to clear his name in relation to a news item published on ModernGhana News Portal on July 3rd 2020.

According to Mr. Ewusie-Moses, he was concerned and took notice of the ModernGhana publication originally attributed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), which alleged that he appeared in court over a Canadian Visa Fraud case.

It was alleged in the said article that he took 12,000 dollars (GHC67,200.00) under the pretext of securing a Canadian passport for a trader but failed.

Setting the records right, he cited that the said news item linking his name to the fraud in the first place is a total misrepresentation of facts and personality, particularly the name of the accused.

He added that this conflicting news report has caused him a huge damage since international businesses and other business partners have refused to do business with him.

Mr. Rodney Ewusie-Moses is therefore urging all his business associates and partners to treat the news article on ModernGhana with the utmost contempt that it deserves.

This is what he had to say about the whole matter:

“As a matter of fact, I am not the one who was even held up in court in the first place. I didn’t appear before any court in Ghana for the said crime in the year 2020.

This disclaimer has become necessary to be issued to the public because the said story on ModernGhana is sinking down my businesses.

Also, if the name of the accused is similar to my name, the report should add his other Ghanaian names to distinctly identify the two of us because I may not be the only one bearing the name ‘RODNEY EWUSIE-MOSES’ in Ghana.”

The concerned Businessman also made it clear that there has never been any point of his dealings with people that even Visa Racketeering has ever come up against him.

“I am not a VISA FRAUDSTER; I do clean business and I have over the years worked so hard to put my image and reputation in clean check and anyone who has come into contact with me can personally vouch for my unblemished business and social status,” he said.
