The Ghanaian populace has been galvanized with an official release from the office of Vice President H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, renouncing his consent to the posters endorsing his presidential bid for the New Patriotic Party in 2024. This has ignited several remarks with others preying on to disparage the dignity and industry of the Vice President of Ghana.
On the first note, we wish to be candid in airing emphatically with conspicuity that we in the “Movement for Bawumia for President 2024” are liable to the posters of the Vice President’s ambition to run on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 general election.
Notwithstanding, it is also worth noting that, this vision is been supported by direct cohorts of the vice President to which he has in an enclosed meeting asserted that to us. We believe in his ideologies and competency of leadership.
However, we are fully cognizant of the fact that some opposing leaders around the President and among the party executives are ostensibly making an effort to deliberate the ambition of the vice president. They are often been guided by their imperious logical misapprehension and that’s why we are not perturbed by the release as it springs from the ambit of the so-called rivals of the Vice President.
It hasn’t been long when one of the faceless anti-Bawumia for President 2024, Gabby Otchere Darko wrote a congratulatory message after the swearing-in of the Vice President for Tanzania, H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan, to which the second paragraph admiring her attributes clearly pursues to insinuate and assault the persona of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He plainly expects to establish the fact that Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is not capable to succeed his uncle, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo. We comprehend the side Gabby Otchere Darko and his other syndicates have chosen but wish to make them conscious of the certainty that, they shouldn’t for once or twice put on any guileful appearance which will seem lethal on the persona of Dr. Bawumia and his pursuit to break the 8 for the New Patriotic Party in 2024. That, we won’t condone!
To this end, the leadership of “Movement for Bawumia for President 2024” sends a message to its members to remain calm as everything is in a logical order and assures on authority that, the Vice President, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will contest in the Presidential elections of the New Patriotic Party in 2022.
We firmly reckon that the New Patriotic Party has only Bawumia for 2024 – we are fully convinced and highly resolved.
