Salaga South MP

As part of efforts to support Muslim communities as they mark this year’s Ramadan month-long period of Muslim fasting, the Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hon Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, has donated 300 of the 50kg sized bags of Sugar to be distributed to Muslims in her constituency.

The gesture also forms part of the Salaga South MP’s yearly support for Muslims during the holy month of the Ramadan.

The three hundred (300) bags of sugar will be distributed to identified needy constituents through the branches, communities, traditional leaders, Imams, Opinion Leaders, women groups, youth groups, bases, and other Islamic groupings within the constituency.

Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah in her Ramadan message urged all Muslims to use this holy month to pray for our country to overcome the global pandemic and also pray for peace, tranquility, and development in the constituency and the country at large.

She has assured the Muslim Ummah of her continuous support in order to maintain a healthy relationship with them.

It could be recalled that the MP made a similar donation during last year’s Ramadan where she presented 250 bags of sugar to Muslims within her constituency.
