The Ghana Police through a joint operation with the military have arrested the man seen in a video firing several shots of a firearm suspected to be AK 47 at ANC Mall, East Legon on the night of December 31, 2021, purportedly to welcome the new year.

The identity of the suspect has been revealed as Flt. Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong.

It would be recalled that the Police Administration after reviewing the video footage placed an amount of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 5,000.00) as a bounty for anyone who could provide information leading to his arrest to face prosecution.
