King Kusae Edu of Gomoa State has led the Asona Royal Stool of the Central Region, to petition the President of the Republic, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo to only deal with and acknowledge that Nana Okofo Ohene Ampofo I is the Legitimate Apagyahene, the Next in Command to the Gomoa Hene King Kusae Edu I family.
According to the Royal Family, this follows the appointment, election, and legal installation of Nana Ohene Ampofo I, the Obabeyin of Twedan Royal Stool as the Apagyahene of King Kusae Edu I Family.
The petition to the President is meant among others to seek the President’s intervention and further close the chapter on any chieftaincy disputes.
