Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) in the Greater Accra Region have thrown their heavyweight behind a philanthropist, business mogul, and dedicated Mr. Micheal Kwetey Tetteh to win the Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship race.
In a statement going viral on the internet, their decision was informed by Mr. Michaels’s dedication, loyalty, experience, track records, and love for the party in his Ningo Prampram constituency and the region at large.
“After our disappointing defeat to a government that used deception to seize power and the ongoing dilution of our visibility in the Greater Accra region, it is imperative for us to contact the savior, the game changer and changer, the result-oriented, and the people’s Michael Tetteh Kwetey to succeed in the Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship Contest in order to reposition our structures in the region in a way that gives our grassroots in the region and Ghanaians at large hope and confidence”, their statement added.

GREATER ACCRA WILL WORK AGAIN WITH MR. MICHAEL TETTEH KWETEY AS OUR REGIONAL CHAIRMAN
After our disappointing defeat to a government that used deception to seize power and the ongoing dilution of our visibility in the Greater Accra region, it is imperative for us to contact the savior, the game charger and changer, the result-oriented, and the people’s Michael Tetteh Kwetey to succeed in the Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship Contest in order to reposition our structures in the region in a way that gives our grassroots in the region and Ghanaians at large hope and confidence.
Mr. Kwetey has an impressive track record, as evidenced by the fact that he stormed the Upper East, Upper West, Bono, Bono East, Ashanti, Western North, Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Eastern Regions to adopt under-resourced constituencies and provide them with resources (both material and financial) in order to aid the Parliamentary Candidates (PCs) in winning the seats for the NDC on December 7, 2020.
As a result, he is the only member of the party to have adopted and funded the most constituencies in advance of the crucial elections in December 2020.
The only living legend who dared to run for political office against Hon. E.T. Mensah, the most feared and dangerous politician in his constituency at the time, was Mr. Kwetey, a young businessman who joined the party and progressed to become the constituency secretary.
He became known as the “people’s man.”
His commitment to the collective welfare and his vision for it expanded as the populace did. Despite having his businesses destroyed by desperate political rivals, he maintained his position and provided for the needs of the underprivileged and anybody else who came his way. In times of adversity, he never turned his back on his people. He was destined to be a leader!
Taking his constituency and people out of the woods is Mr. Kwetey’s straightforward goal as a prosperous industrialist with a welfarist worldview and affection for his people, the majority of whom are living in extreme poverty.
Additionally, he has always fought for the welfare of the oppressed in his constituency and people from all walks of life as a self-made politician who owes nothing to political funders and bankers.
Many political observers believed that Mr. Kwetey would have launched a vendetta against known political foes in the wake of the evil committed against him in 2015. But as usual, he avoided gloating, pettiness, and retaliation instead, and his offer of compromise brought the constituency together for the first time ever.
Mr. Kwetey, who was elected Chairman of the Ningo-Prampram NDC, which was in desperate need of unity before the 2020 elections due to the unfairness that occurred in 2015, is not abusing this prized opportunity with politics of resentment but rather proving that he is a politician who thinks more of his people than his narrow interests. As a result, the party’s chances have significantly improved, with thousands of NPP loyalists joining the NDC every day in Ningo Prampram.
Can one just imagine how pleasing, interesting, and loving the NDC will be if he is given the Nod to serve as the Greater Accra Region?
We want to urge all delegates in the Region to look at the competency of this man, his wisdom, and his capacity and vote for him to become the party’s Regional Chairman for a resounding victory come 2024.
