In life, there are so many circumstances that beset us as humans, but with determination, hard work, and providence, things can change and work in our favor.
Such is the story of Ivy Mintah, a Secretary to the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Madam Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
In an interview with Akosua Gold recently, she shared her typical grass-to-grace story.
Growing up with her parents and siblings in Nsawam Adoagyiri, having three square meals was a luxury, Ivy is not a stranger to poverty, all this changed when her father landed a job with the SOS at Tema, but with the blessings came other attacks, her dad suddenly and strangely took to drinking, ( someone who steered clear of alcohol), lost his job in the process, moved back to Nsawam among series of heartbreaks, betrayals, and lessons.
Ivy has seen it all, she said she decided to share her story, so others, especially young ladies could learn a thing or two and be well guided.
