Japhet Festus Gbede has taken the number one spot on the ballot paper and all indications point to his favour and poised for victory on voting day Sunday.
This is his first time of contesting so if he wins, he will become one of the youngest and most inspirational politicians as a Deputy Director of Communications for the NDC in Akatsi South.
Japhet Festus Gbede has proven to be one of the topmost critics of the ruling NPP government under President Nana Akufo-Addo.

He stated recently that the NPP won the general elections of 2016 and 2020 on the basis of lies, that the NDC’s vote margin in the Akatsi South constituency is shrinking, and that the party needs technocrats, researchers, innovative ideas, and a united front to energize the party base.
