Information, the need for the Kejefair 2022: Two Sure Edition Business Seminar
In the lead up to the Kejefair 2022 Fair slated for the 17th and 18th of December at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Labadi – Accra the Kejefair 2022 Business Seminar was set-up to enhance and empower participating vendors to reach their full potential.
The Kejefair Business Seminar took place on the 7th of December, 2022 at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel – Labadi. The seminar congregated over 40 vendors who are poised to exhibit their goods and services at Kejefair 2022: Two Sure Edition.
The participants of the seminar were coached and mentored by industry personages in the fields of Advantage of PR & Strategic Marketing, Strategic Branding and Content Marketing.
Kejefair recognized that a gap existed in the strategic marketing and communications aspect of the vendors they engaged.
In lieu of this, Kejefair set up the seminar as a platform to not only educate their vendors but also promote community, networking and mentorship.
The seminar speakers
For taking Advantage of PR & Strategic Marketing, the participants were instructed by Media and Public Relations Consultant, Kofi Asamoah.
“Aesthetics are a great strategy for any business- perception matters,” he advised. “But you cannot have a shop in which prospective customers come in, take pictures, pay your space compliments and leave. If you want to build customer equity then you have to aim to not only know your customer’s wants but understand their needs.”
He took participants through interactive exercises where they identified rifts in their business image and how best to improve public perception of their brand.
An entrepreneur herself, Afia Twumwaa Baffour took the participants through some tips and easy-to-do hacks which would propel their brands and cultivate a market niche.
She added that the most vital aspect of branding is consistency and community- constantly engage your market and grow a relationship that builds your brands right into their lives.
Digital Marketing expert Padmond Annor Senior, who has a first-hand experience dealing with creating engaging content for both small, medium and big brands.
He lectured the participants on the importance of using social media to accrue data to refine brands, how to choose influencers that align with specialized brands and the ‘Dos’ that assure brands stay equitable.
“As a brand you cannot disregard that your main goal is to make profit,” he said. “But you are not only online- making all these reels, posting all these reviews and engaging customers to make profit.
The reason you are online and using AdSense, GoogleAds and influencers to promote your brand is because you want to create value.”
He also highlighted easy digital tools that the participants could use to better their digital marketing skills.
