The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has received with great joy, the appointment of Mr. Theophilus Yartey as the Editor of Graphic of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) and wishes to congratulate him on his elevation.
It is the hope of the GJA that Mr. Yartey’s appointment will bring a new lease of life into the management and operations of the biggest Newspaper organisation in the country.
As an executive management position of the GCGL, with oversight responsibility over all other news brands of the Group, the GJA believes Mr. Yartey will leverage on his 30 years of experience in the media to galvanise the staff to rejuvenate the Graphic brands.
This is very critical in an era where the newspaper business has changed with the advent of new media and general online journalism.
The Association looks forward to working closely with Mr. Yartey in its efforts to enhance quality journalism, and promote the tenets of democracy and the development of the country.
We have no doubt that Mr. Theophilus Yartey will continue to work in the larger interest of corporate Ghana and for that matter GCGL. Congrats once again.
The Association equally extends its congratulations to three other staff of the Company who have been elevated to various positions.
best wishes to; Mr. Enoch Darfah Frimpong, Editor of Graphic Digital, Madam Hannah Acheampong Amoah, Editor of the Junior Graphic, and Mr. Asamoah Boahene, Editor, Graphic Business.
