In a Facebook post to wish Muslims across the globe the blessings of Eid Adha, the former national vice chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, has sternly criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party government led by H.E. Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Ambassador Alhaji Said Sinare, the founder of Zongos for the opposition National Democratic Congress on Thursday lashed out at the President Nana Addo-led NPP government for what he termed its poor management of the nation’s economy, which has erased the importance of Eid Adha, the second-largest festival commemorated by Muslims in the country.

He charged Ghanaians and Muslims, particularly, to exhibit signs of togetherness to overcome the severe economic hardships in the country.

The moment has come for all Ghanaians, without exception, to embrace the spirit of comradeship and communal fraternity in the face of the hardships brought on by the economic management team of the Nana Addo Danaqua-led NPP government, given how difficult even basic survival has become,” he stated.

Since a persistent storm of economic suffering has mostly erased the memory of Eid Adha, the second-largest festival for Muslims, Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia’s contributions to our political discourse will continue to be shameful, disgraceful, and apologetic,” he added.
