Founder of My Future-Your-Future-Our Future (MYO) Professor Douglas Boateng, has rallied support for Made-In-Ghana products as part of efforts to boost the local economy.

He further called on all to prioritize locally produced goods to create more jobs for the youth to contribute to the country’s development.

MYO Global Organisation is a youth-focused, non-governmental agency that aims to mobilize resources and inspire creativity among young people worldwide, with a mission to shape a better future for the youth.

Adressing the media at book donation ceremony where he donated 700 copies of his books on strategic sourcing and supply chain management to the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa (UMAT), Prof. Boateng emphasized on the importance of adding value to the country’s resources to overcome economic crises that has affected all.

Throwing more light, Prof. Boateng added that, “whatever we buy has an impact on our industralization agenda, therefore there’s rhe need to add raw materials, the more jobs we create for the youth, the more income we to support our developmental agenda”.

Vice Chancellor of UMAT Prof. Richard K. Amankwah, added his voice that, the book will be of great help to the students since benefitiaries are in first-year in logistics and postgraduate students in engineering management and supply chain management.

According to him, this will enlighten their intellectual ability to be more productive and skillful.

He said the university remains very much committed to training individuals who apply artificial intelligence in the mining sector.
