Leverage Microfinance has been recognized as the “Microfinance Company of the Year, 2022″ at the 4th prestigious Ghana Excellence Awards organised by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, Ghana.

In an interaction with the press, Mr. Gilbert Adamtey, the CEO, expressed appreciation to the organizers for recognizing the contribution and enormous efforts of Leverage in the Microfinance sector.

Mr. Adamtey extended his appreciation to the company’s Board, Shareholders, Management and Staff and Stakeholders for the attainment of this milestone.

Under the theme “Banking and ESG Revolution-Going Beyond Aspirations”, the event sought to showcase and applaud best performing banks and non-bank financial institutions and individuals in various categories of the Ghanaian banking and non-banking financial sector.

The awards encompassed a range of categories such as “Bank of the year, Rural Bank of the year, Savings and Loans Company of the year, Microfinance of the year, Micro-Credit of the year, Excellence in Growth Finance,” among others.

Leverage Microfinance, a legally registered limited liability company under Ghana’s Companies Act 1963 (Act 179) as a non-bank financial institution, has unquestionably etched its name as a trailblazer in fostering financial solutions that underpin livelihoods.
