Black Stars of Ghana have been paired with Angola, Sudan and Niger in Group F of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The journey to Morocco for Ghana begins in September 2024, with aim of picking a slot towards image restoration exercise for the 4 time Africa champions.
Ironically, Ghana will face her former coach Akwesi Appiah who has been incharge of Sudan as the headcoach.
The draw which was held on Thursday July 4, 2024 in South Africa featured 48 national teams put into twelve groups of four each with the top two teams qualifying for the tournament in Morocco next year.
Black Stars are chasing their first AFCON glory in 42years as the tournamentfixed between December 21, 2025, and January 18, 2026.

— Liberia, Eswatini, South Sudan and Chad won preliminary ties; other 44 qualifiers received byes.
— Winners and runners-up qualify from each group except that containing Morocco, who will take part to gain competitive match practice. Morocco qualify automatically as hosts so only the best placed of the other three teams in their section will secure a place.
— Morocco will host Cup of Nations from Dec 21 2025 to Jan 18 2026.
